MyFormula Terms of Service
These terms are a contract between you and Cameron Rahmati, a sole proprietor doing business as MyFormula ("MyFormula", "we"), for the MyFormula iOS application.
1. MyFormula is not medical care
MyFormula provides educational information and personalized supplement suggestions generated by an AI system from the information you provide. MyFormula is not a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, or medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or medication, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a condition, or taking prescription medication. Our interaction screening covers known supplement and medication interactions in our reference data; it is not exhaustive and does not replace professional advice. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in MyFormula.
2. Who can use MyFormula
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You agree to answer the consultation honestly; the routine is only as safe as the information you give it.
3. Subscriptions
Your personalized routine, tracker, and encyclopedia access require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple Account:
- Annual: $99.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
- Monthly: $19.99 per month, with no free trial
Prices in USD; local pricing may vary. On the annual plan, if you are eligible for the free trial (Apple offers it only to someone who has not had a trial or a subscription to this app before), the first 7 days are free and $99.99 is charged to your Apple Account when the free trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple Account settings. Apple handles all billing and refunds under its own terms. If you do not subscribe, your consultation answers stay on your device for 7 days so you can return, and our server deletes its copy after three days.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the information you enter, including bloodwork photos. You grant us the license needed to operate the service: processing your answers to generate and display your routine, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4a. Third-party services
MyFormula runs on services we do not operate: Supabase for accounts and storage, Anthropic's Claude API for routine generation, RevenueCat and Apple for subscriptions, and Mixpanel for usage analytics. What each one receives is set out in the Privacy Policy. Their availability is outside our control, and an outage at one of them can make parts of the app unavailable.
5. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer the app, scrape the encyclopedia, resell access, or use MyFormula to provide advice to third parties. The supplement quality ratings ("The MyFormula Standard") are our editorial opinion, based on the listed criteria, and are provided as-is.
6. Disclaimers and liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR HEALTH OUTCOMES FROM SUPPLEMENTS YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE, PRODUCTS SOLD BY THIRD PARTIES, OR DECISIONS MADE WITHOUT CONSULTING A PROFESSIONAL. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
7. Statements about supplements
Statements in MyFormula about dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
8. Termination
You can stop using MyFormula anytime; deletion requests per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Sections 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.
9. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. We may update these terms; material changes get an in-app notice, and continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Contact: support@trymyformula.com.
